Hi, I'm Lina!
I’ve held nearly every role in the podcasting ecosystem:
host, guest, editor, booking agent, show notes writer, content creator, and more.
Because I’ve worn so many hats (sometimes at the same time), I’ve seen all the cracks in the system...and I’m here to help patch them up!
why Podcasting?
I’ve been a podcast listener for over a decade.
There’s something powerful about hearing someone in your ears! It connects, transforms, and stays with you longer than a social post or video ever could.
After launching my first (short-lived) show in 2021, I taught myself to edit, started working behind the scenes on other people’s shows, and slowly carved out a space for myself in the industry.
Today, I’m still learning. Still listening. Still ranting (lovingly) on We the Pod Nerds, about how we can all make the podcasting space a little better.
Random Nerd Facts About Me
I’m an extroverted introvert: I’ll be the first one on the dance floor, but also the first one to say, “Can we just stay in tonight?”
I used to drive a semi-truck all over the U.S. Yep—18 wheels, sleeping in truck stops, showering every 3 days, the whole thing!
I also host a mental health podcast called The Streets of Our Lives.
I dabble in arts & crafts (watercolor, sewing, etc) for mental health reasons.
I shaved my head in 2022 after thyroid-related hair loss. Buzzcut life lasted for almost 2 years...and yes, it was fun!
I'm on a mission to read more fiction books!
